Emoji Selection
Emoji Keyboard
- Select the “Emoji Icon” in a chat input box to open the Emoji keyboard. From here you can search for emojis, browse categories, and quickly access your recently used emojis.
- You can modify the skin-tone of emojis through the skin-tone dropdown icon in the upper-right corner.
Emoji Short-codes
- Emojis can be selected by typing the emoji short-code :cool:! When you begin typing an emoji short-code, you will see auto-complete options available above the chat input box. Hitting enter, or tab will auto-complete the emoji.
- Tip: Hovering over an emoji in the keyboard will display its shortcode in the search bar.
Player Profile Improvements
- Player profiles now have a mutual friends section!
- Blizzard Group invite links can be added to the links section of your profile. Other users can click the group invite link to join the group.
- Friends profiles now show game presence.
- Brigitte and Moira profile avatars have been added.
Blizzard Groups Improvements
- Groups can be reordered by clicking and dragging in the groups list in the Social tab.
- Group leaders can reorder channels for all group members by clicking and dragging within the channel list.

Feature Updates
Improvements to Chat
- A new Emoji keyboard as been added that can be accessed by slecting the Emoji icon in the chat input box. You can browse by category, search by keyword, and quickly access most recently used emojis.
- Emojis are also accessible by their short-code equivalent. You can now being typing an emoji short-code and see auto-complete options available in-line.
- Pro Tip: You can see the short-code equivalent for each emoji in the search bar by hovering over the emoji in the keyboard.
Improvements to Player Profiles
- Mutual friends are shown when viewing other players' profiles
- Profiles now dispaly rich presence for Blizzard players
Improvements to Blizzard Groups
- You can now reorder your groups in the social tab by clicking and dragging
- Group leaders can now reorder channels within their group by clicking and dragging
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug that affected setting hotkeys for muting voice and streaming controls
- Fixed a bug causing group member lists to auto-collapse when resizing the App window
- Fixed a bug with not remembering the last channel a user was in when switching groups
- Fixed an issue that would sometimes cause Groups to load with wrong channel selected
