Internet Explorer is a parody program on the Internet Explorer browser that allows a user to download the a browser of their choice. It downloads the browser's installation files from the official servers (e.g. Firefox from mozilla.org). This program was mainly made for fun but it may actually have some use cases such as being available on a USB Drive to download a browser straight away instead of having to open a browser on that computer, searching the browser choice and going through the process of downloading it.

It is based on the memes around Internet Explorer which was only used to download other browsers.
